It was my birthday on the 4th, turning me 18 years old, and I had a nice little celebration at home, getting a bit of cash, a 360 game, and a 5.1 surround soundcard. The Soundcard didn't work out quite as I expected, I thought it would allow me to hear surround sound on my 360, but after days of constant software tinkering the best I can get is the same stereo I always get only with a two second delay. Obviously I just switched back to my old setup, but it was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, I had a good birthday.
There isn't a great deal to be done at the moment, so i'm more or less sitting around looking for ways of entertaining myself. My first response came back, De Montfort University being the first through the gate. Their offer is Unconditional, meaning that no matter what happens now I'll be going to university. De Montfort ranks 4 out of 6 on my list of choices, meaning it will be trumped if I get an offer from Kent (1), UCLAN (2), or Kingston (3). But that also means I now don't care about 5 and 6, keele and Greenwich respectively, who are now out ranked. As you can tell, i'm relieved things seem to be sorting themselves out on their own.
So, i've been couped up indoors for a long time, i'm thinking i'll use some of my money from my birthday to go and see a movie sometime in the next week.

question- do u know what that actually means?

Comic art is designed to save on time and money, that's what gives it the "rough" feel. Face it, you're too much of a capricorn to draw comic art!

Now don't get me wrong. Comic art can be just as detailed as art art, but then you must actually go through actual effort to make it look rough... edges and textures must seem simplified. Backgrounds for example would run into one another if the reader wouldn't be looking at it, and muscles can be indicated by a single horizonal line...
plus, let's not forget, cool movement blurs. But in my opinion if it took more than three hours to sketch a strip, it isn't comic book, it's a rushed masterpiece
And as for your recent examples, if it took less than five minutes... it's err a rushed comic book. heh heh heh...
kudos on the naked people though.
